FBC Burnet recently hosted a “Yellow Cap” training for the Texas Baptist Men’s Disaster Relief.  This was the basic training, equipping individuals to assist in specialized areas of disaster relief.  TBM trains volunteers and coordinates efforts to provide prompt assistance to disaster victims and emergency
support in times of disaster. TBM has been involved in Disaster Relief in Texas and around the world since 1967. Click to view the Texas Baptist Men website.

The Birth of Hope Baptist Church in Cottonwood Shores, Texas is a new church that we have been able to assist with construction materials and physical labor. Check out their facebook page: Birth of Hope Baptist Church  . If you live in the Cottonwood Shores area and are looking for a church home, consider visiting!

Romania may seem like a mysterious, distant land, but through a unique connection to that area, FBC Burnet has adopted a small piece of this beautiful country and fallen in love with the people! A “can-do” attitude and fierce determination to spread the gospel has enabled the town of Bahnea to begin construction on a new church building. FBC Burnet sends teams to Romania several times each year to help with construction, discipleship, Vacation Bible Schools, and to build relationships with the people and spread the love of Jesus to everyone they come in contact with. God has paved the way for this endeavor years in advance….the time is now and the fields are white unto harvest!

Generous donations have made possible the purchase of coats and shoes for Romanian people in need. FBC will be shipping a container of supplies like these to Romania in the next few months.

When a devastating tornado tore through the town of Acuna, Mexico in mid-May, 2015, residents there were left with nothing. FBC Burnet has partnered with a local pastor in the area to supply basic needs of toiletries, water, and other essential supplies. Below are a few pictures from that town.
